The Political Reform and The Security Interference ….to what Extend?

The Egyptian security bodies continue its insisting on adopting the emergency policy in dealing with the citizens ,and its dedication of the theories of the national security at the expense of respecting public rights and freedoms. It is the reality confirmed by the detention campaigns lunched by the Ministry of Interior recently ,the end of which was the detention of 73citizens of El Monofiaa governorate , on their head was master Ateaa Adlan, Saad Abdoo ,Ashraf Ateaa, Abd El Ghane Abd El Fattah ,Ashraf Mohamed Hamed ,Abd El Gane Abd El Lateef Elfaramawy , Mohamed Talat Abd El Hameed and Nabeel Abd El Hameed ,accusing them of forming an organization support the Muslim Brothers' group . The Ministry of Interior also detained Dr. Mohamed Basheer the teacher in El Monofia University with some of the businessmen on the background of accusing them of leading a banned groups aimed at toppling the ruling system and establishing the Islamic Succession system and threat the country's stability and accusing them also of money laundry through using their companies to invest the Brother's member's money .

So that, the Egyptian network to defend the detainee expresses its worry about the increase of the security actions that form a threat to the rights and freedoms guaranteed by the international charters and the constitution . The network also regards the random detention campaigns of the security bodies as a kind of terrorism against people, which need to be challenged more than the terrorism the government's agenda concerned with under the item of political reform as a substitute of continuing the enforcement of the emergency law .The evidence which reflects the trend towards giving more legality to this actions instead of condemning it and punishing those who are responsible of it, is the suggestion adopted by the government in its vision of the coming constitutional amendments which include adding a new article to the constitution concerned with incriminating and challenged what is called terrorism . This is the name in which the state finds its desire in searching for the future legality of all its coming actions to suppress rights and freedoms .

The Egyptian network cannot but warning about the continuity of adopting this policy which will not lead to challenging terrorism according to the governmental security's believe ,but it will lead to new forms of social violence, its birth certificate will made by the continuous suppress of rights and freedoms and the results of this will be far from any reform .Also the fact that the security bodies do not recognize its real role to defend the rights and freedoms against the abuses directed towards it, put such bodies as illegal ,specially as its trespassing reached   the respect of its legislation source while the constitution and the international charters call for respecting it .

On another respect ,if the detention's campaigns that is committed with violating the constitution and law is done on a background to clear political accountants in order to create a political reality in conformity with the offered reform's agenda according to the government's view without real recognition of the other national forces ,so the extend of this crisis will harm the democracy of the whole political climate ,and its result will be a case of a political slipping away with unknown consequences .

Thus ,if the governmental agenda has in it a real reform trend so the matter will not be correct unless the issue starts with confirming the respect of public rights and freedoms and the settling of democratic principles and discussions ,which means the reformulation of the security bodies' vision and role on one side ,and the respect of public rights and freedoms on the other one.
