Maat for Judicial and Constitutional Studies General Coordinator of the Alliance Against Egyptian death penalty case Confirmed  that the Egyptians sentenced to death in Libya had raised Arab public opinion and the Egyptian around :

Is it expected that waived the death penalty or whether it will be implemented? What is the feasibility of the implementation?

In a nutshell, the facts of the crisis in a group of Egyptians accused of committing murders and ten of them are on death row and who feel death at every moment spent in prison awaiting execution.

In the framework of the Alliance Egyptian preservation of the right to life and provided by the international covenants, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, article third, demands Libyan judiciary to reconsider the ruling that the penalty is extremely harsh, especially after accepting some of the families of the victims of amends. This has enabled some civil society organizations from the Libyan fund seven amends sentenced to death and asked coordination with the Egyptian embassy for the settlements and managed the Egyptian embassy in Tripoli city to obtain amnesty waiver of the families and victims being negotiated with the third amnesty or accepting amends.

It is worth mentioning that the El-Massry El-Youme Egyptian newspaper reported that the church has prompted Christian (Ihab Wajdi El-Mashreky ) of the Egyptians sentenced to death in Libya, and there are Requests to  the intervention of  "Al-Azhar" for  paying amends of ZAKAH funds.

Hence the alliance raises the question : Is Arab judiciary learns tolerance of the families of children infected with AIDS virus?

Is Tolerance Libyan families and their forgiveness for the Bulgarian nurses and the Palestinian doctor Ashraf Hagoj was a clear stance to Arab judiciary  for review by the harsh sentencing of violent death.

Therefore, the Egyptian Coalition Against the Death Penalty to thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their efforts.

It demands that the Egyptian government should make greater efforts to stop the execution of the sentence against the others sentenced to death in that case also asking the Egyptian judiciary reduction issuing death sentences.
